Fulltime Position
At Kalachandji’s, we aren’t just looking for a manager; we are looking for a leader to take ownership of our one of a kind UTD campus outlet. This is a unique hybrid role that combines restaurant operations, logistics, and community engagement. You will play a pivotal role in our expansion, stepping into a position that offers significant professional growth and the chance to mentor a team while serving food that makes a positive impact.
Your Daily Impact
- Operations & Quality: Oversee daily kitchen setup, maintain and operated specialized equipment , and ensure the quality of our buffet, street food counters and other offerings.
- Logistics & Markets: Manage inventory and distribute premium products to multiple campus micro-markets, using sales data to minimize waste and maximize availability.
- Marketing & Engagement: Lead our “Sampling First” philosophy—engaging with students, running social media promos, preparing promotional material and coordinating catering for campus organizations.
- Administration: Manage daily cash reconciliation and provide clear, consistent communication with executive leadership.
- Campus Liaison: Be the person that helps us know whats going on around campus and maintain strong relationships with the Campus operations staff.
What You Bring
- Experience: 1–2 years in food service, hospitality, Customer Service or shift leadership.
- Vibrant Personality: A welcoming demeanor and the ability to comfortably engage a diverse student and faculty population.
- Operational Agility: The ability to think on your feet, handle the pace of campus life, and manage inventory with precision.
- Culinary & Dietary Awareness: A passion for high-quality global vegetarian/vegan food and a strict commitment to allergen safety and cross-contamination standards.
